2. Court Data Inaccuracies & Limitation of Liability

Our case status, orders, and hearing dates are fetched dynamically from the government eCourts portals. We strive to provide the most reliable information possible. However, because this data is generated by external public registries, we cannot guarantee its 100% accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

By using LegalZoo, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for cross-checking critical dates, listings, and orders directly on the official court websites or physical cause lists.
• LegalZoo, its developers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, missed court dates, default judgments, or inaccuracies resulting from the use of court data fetched from eCourts.
• The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

2.1 AI Legal Assistant features (Simulation & Copilot)

LegalZoo includes AI-powered features (such as the Virtual Courtroom Simulator and Quick Consult Copilot) that utilize advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to summarize PDFs, answer legal queries, and simulate courtroom scenarios. While these tools are designed to assist and enhance productivity, they operate under the following strict legal conditions:

• AI Can Make Mistakes: AI models generate responses probabilistically and may occasionally output incorrect, incomplete, or outdated legal information. They are not a substitute for human professional legal research, analysis, or advice.
• No Professional Liability: Under no circumstances shall LegalZoo, its owners, developers, or affiliates be liable for any legal errors, omissions, or misunderstandings resulting from AI-generated outputs. User relies on AI outputs entirely at their own risk.
• Verification Mandatory: Users must verify all AI-generated suggestions, case summaries, law section citations, and legal strategies against official statutory codes, binding case precedents, and court guidelines before adopting them.

3. User Accounts & Licensing

To access the premium functions of the Service, you must receive a valid License Key, complete registration, and maintain a secure password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Upload files that contain viruses, trojans, or malicious software.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of LegalZoo, other accounts, or server systems.
• Automate requests to our platform in a way that creates an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

5. Modifications to Service & Prices

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Prices of all services are subject to change upon notice from us.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
